Leipzig University will host the 12th “European Summer University in Digital Humanities, Culture & Technology“ from 2nd to 12th August.

The Summer University is being organised by Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Burr from the Institut für Romanistik, and her team, together with the Forum Digital Humanities Leipzig (FDHL). Arqus (doctoral) students, young scholars and academics from the Arts and Humanities, Library Sciences, Social Sciences, the Arts and Engineering and Computer Sciences are invited to this interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and experience in a multilingual and multicultural context and thus create the conditions for future project-based co-operations.

The intensive programme consists of workshops, teaser sessions, public lectures, regular project presentations, a poster session and a panel discussion.

The application deadline is 31st May but it will be extended.

More information about the European Summer can be found here. The important dates for application are announced here. The list of workshops is published here

Please check with your local Arqus officers about the funding opportunities to finance this mobility.
