The bottom-up initiative Open Science Ambassador Network will soon launch an Open Science Award for PhD students and Postdocs.
The first Arqus Open Science Award will recognise early-career researchers who champion open science. This award aims to honor those advancing accessibility, reusability, and reproducibility in research, setting an example for the scientific community.
Applications will open in autumn 2025, for individual and team research conducted between 2023 and 2025.
The first Arqus Open Science Award was announced by Ilona Lipp, from the Arqus Open Science Ambassador Network, during the 2025 Arqus Annual Conference at Leipzig University:
