Finals of the 2nd Arqus virtual company creation challenge. Vote for your favourite project!
From May 3rd to 9th, vote for the business project you like the most, among the 6 finalists proposed by Arqus Universities.
Led by the Université de Lyon, as head of the “Entrepreneurial University and Regional Engagement” Action Line, this challenge encourages students who are already open to entrepreneurship to implement the practical tools and knowledge learned through their local programmes on entrepreneurship.
Projects
Teleworking
Cristina Estévez, Olga Garzón, Carlos Garzón
This project is a platform to help teleworkers to manage all their necessities when they decide to work remotely from Spain, including accommodation, services and memberships. It aims to boost the economy in less touristic areas and to facilitate the current trend of remote work adoption worldwide.
Stageportal
Maria Lackner, Stephan Schauberger
The project aims to develop a digital platform that connects artists with people looking for show acts. It should close the existing communication gap and lead to an increase in efficiency in this industry.
Saige Sport Analytics
Shaun Brentnall, Sandesh Bhat
This project develops a gadget including a respective app for tracking, analysing and presenting complex movement data that can be used by sports teams (primarily in ball sports like football, rugby, handball etc.) to improve their performances.
The project aims to develop connected teeth guards to improve concussion detection in rugby.
Predict
Edoardo D’Angelo, Francesca Sensi, Riccardo Rampado, Marco Agostini
This project is on the prediction of patient-specific response to treatment by means of a patient-derived hydrogel and organoid chimeric 3D model.
Cope
Hanna Zikeyeva, Deimantė Stankevičiūtė
This project is a platform that connects people who experience various levels of anxiety in order to battle it with human interactions and developing feeling of purpose.
A jury, made up of members of Arqus’ regional economic partners, will rate the video. This will account for 50% of the final score. Public votes for the videos will count for the other 50% of the final score.
The video with the highest score will win the competition and a chance to have mentoring sessions as well as a mobility visit to one of the Arqus’ partners, for a cultural and exploratory experience coordinated by the local entrepreneurship centre.
The finals have been programmed for the week of the 3rd May also to be part of the activities organised for the Arqus Academy Week.
