Attention all students within the Arqus Alliance! Are you ready to make an impact and strengthen connections across universities? We are excited to announce the launch of the 2025 call for student co-designed projects, aimed at enhancing inter-institutional student experiences within the Arqus European University Alliance.

This year’s call invites students to propose innovative short projects to be implemented throughout 2025 until the end of April 2026, leading to transformative ideas that foster collaboration between students from multiple Arqus universities. Your project could focus on important themes like European Identity and Heritage, Climate Change, Sustainable Development, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Plurilingual Learning, Inclusion & Diversity, or even a new theme you propose!

Why get involved?

  • Gain real-world project management experience while honing your collaboration and creativity.
  • Connect with students from diverse backgrounds, broaden your horizons, and build a strong international network.
  • Projects involving students from multiple Arqus universities are eligible for funding up to €2500, depending on the number of participating universities.

How to get involved

  • Ideate: Think about what changes you would like to see or what new initiatives could benefit the Arqus community.
  • Team up: Need teammates? Start with your local student union or jump into the Arqus Student Agora on Zulip here to find like-minded students across the Alliance.
  • Pitch your project: Submit your application by 12 May 2025

Important dates

Opening of the call: 17 March  2025
Deadline for submission: 12 May 12 2025 (23:59)
Selection notifications: Within 2 weeks after the submission deadline

What’s next? After the selection process, successful applicants will have the opportunity for a post-selection conversation to discuss how to bring their projects to life.
