European Identity & Heritage Living Lab

Promoting and preserving Europe's cultural identity and values

The Arqus Living Labs are open spaces for the creation of initiatives by academics, educators, professionals, students and external stakeholders. By guaranteeing a collaborative space, we are working towards the common goal of contributing to the development of solutions to the challenges facing Europe in the future through education, research and innovation.

The Living Labs also aim to generate Arqus policies and practices relating to the twin green and digital transitions and to the defence of European values, promoting our role as a model for sustainable progress and democratic culture.

The global challenges facing European societies have multiplied and become ever more complex in recent years, as people in all parts of the world face multiple, overlapping and intertwined crises, some more long-term than others, such as climate change, others rooted in longer historical trajectories but resulting in new emergencies. Profound questions arise: How should actors in Europe respond to multiple and interconnected crises, including climate change, the rise of populism, global health, economic disruption, and war?
