19 Sep 2025On 19th September, the University of Granada warmly welcomed the second-year students of the Joint Master’s Programme in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence (MICAC) as they began their third semester of studies.
This cohort, following the academic path UNIPD–VU–UGR–UMinho, is attending courses at UGR for the first time, after having successfully completed the first academic year at the University of Padua (Italy) and Vilnius University (Lithuania). They will conclude their studies at the University of Minho (Portugal) during the final semester, which includes the Graduation Week.
The welcome and orientation session has taken place at the School of Computer and Telecommunication Engineering (ETSIIT). Students were introduced to the academic and administrative structure at the University of Granada (UGR), received guidance on digital platforms and academic services, and were informed about the semester’s logistics, teaching schedule and upcoming internship opportunities — which in this edition will be funded through the European project Cyberactioning.
As an Arqus joint programme, MICAC promotes student mobility and interdisciplinary excellence, offering students the opportunity to study in four European countries and gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity and cyberintelligence.
We wish all MICAC students a productive and enriching semester in Granada!
