Arqus criss-cross online mobility

You can now register for the autumn and spring semester open call for criss-cross online mobility in the academic year 2025/2026.

Criss-cross mobility empowers students to dynamically combine periods of study across multiple destinations within the Arqus alliance, offering flexibility and a richer, multi-faceted international immersion.

This special mobility provides students with a unique, integrated learning experience where they can combine a traditional Erasmus+ semester with shorter criss-cross experiences. In addition, the program offers all Arqus Alliance students the opportunity to undertake online activities to enrich and enhance their study path.

Criss-cross mobility aims to promote a culture of innovative mobility, provide seamless mobility opportunities, and improve and promote online mobility, while letting students create a personalised academic journey that can leverage the strengths of different European Institutions.

Funding

Criss-cross mobility is completely free for all students of the Arqus alliance.

Application deadlines and procedures

Students can apply for Criss-cross by submitting their applications via email virtual.exchange@unipd.it

Deadline for the Autumn semester: October 2025.

Applicants will be required to provide their contact details and information about their study field.

Selection criteria

There are no selection criteria: all students of the Arqus alliance can participate in the Criss-cross mobility.

Recognition of credits

The institution will be required to release attendance certificates and transcript of records or equivalent documents for all the participants.

At the end of the virtual mobility, documents such as the transcript of records or equivalent documents will be issued to all participants.

These documents can be used by the student to request recognition of credits.
