EPIC is a non-profit junior company, formed exclusively by students attending courses at the School of Engineering at the University of Minho.

Its main objective is to establish a link between students and the business world, so that they can apply the knowledge acquired in academia to real-world contexts. As it is a junior company made up entirely of students from various bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes, values such as teamwork, mutual support, and project organisation and management are fostered, thus contributing to the personal and professional growth of its members.

  • Services:
    • Software Development: Combines clients’ operational and management needs with members’ knowledge and experience in the design and integration of management systems. It also includes the development of mobile applications and possibly, specific programmes for certain machines.
    • Prototype Development: A drawing may not be sufficient to visualise a project in a company. Therefore, the solution may be to develop a prototype. We study the customer’s needs and respond by presenting products that meet those needs.
    • Website Development: We develop customised web solutions that perfectly combine design and functionality. In addition, we offer websites with tools that enable integration with different management platforms.
    • Engineering Project Consulting: To succesfully manage technical development projects, it is necessary to have various types of advanced knowledge. For example, specialists in materials, measurements, and specific calculations.
