As part of the GUSEGG Summer School, the Arqus Thematic Days on AI and Digitalization bring together over 100 academics, professionals, and students to explore “Digitalization & AI: Academic Challenges.” The event fosters critical dialogue on how AI is reshaping research, teaching, and academic infrastructures across disciplines.
A second thematic day will follow in September under the title “Digital Transformation and Democracy,” hosted within the Summer School Data, Democracy, and the New Social Fabric. This session will examine the influence of social media, digitalization, and artificial intelligence on democratic processes and societal structures. To promote inclusivity and open access, all lectures will be recorded and shared via a dedicated YouTube channel, with supporting materials available on GitHub, and later posted on Arqus website and YouTube.
