To mark Europe Day, the Arqus team at the University of Granada (UGR) organised a series of information sessions over the past few weeks to promote the Erasmus+ programme at numerous secondary schools across the province of Granada.

The aim of these sessions has been to introduce students in secondary education, sixth form (ESO) and vocational training (FP) to the opportunities for international mobility, training and civic engagement offered by the Erasmus+ programme. Additionally, the sessions highlighted the key internationalisation projects currently driven by both the Arqus Alliance and the UGR.

The outreach activities were conducted in a dynamic and interactive manner, combining informative presentations with educational quizzes, thereby fostering a more accessible and engaging approach to the values and opportunities offered by the European Union. Hosted by secondary schools such as IES Miguel de Cervantes, IES Pedro Soto de Rojas and IES Manuel de Falla, the campaign reached an estimated 500 students.

The European Documentation Centre (EDC) at the University of Granada actively supported this campaign by providing information materials and promotional merchandise for the participating students. Through this collaborative initiative, the University of Granada and the Arqus reaffirm their shared commitment to promoting internationalisation and European values within the local community.
