Meet the winners of the Arqus Réamh Collaboration Funding 2026

The Arqus Alliance team at Maynooth University is pleased to announce the successful projects awarded under the Arqus Réamh Collaboration Funding 2026, a seed-funding initiative designed to support early-stage research collaborations between MU academics and partner institutions across the Arqus European University Alliance.

The Réamh (Irish for “starting point” or “preliminary”) Collaboration Funding provides €5,000 per project to enable researchers to initiate or strengthen partnerships with at least one Arqus partner. Supported activities include joint workshops, research visits, pilot studies, and the development of proposals for larger national and European funding opportunities.

The inaugural 2026 call attracted a highly competitive pool of applications, reflecting the strength, diversity, and ambition of research collaboration across the University. The initiative serves as a key stepping stone toward larger-scale funding applications, while also strengthening Maynooth University’s engagement within Arqus research networks and aligning closely with the University’s Research Beacons.
