Who can participate?

This micro-credential is aimed at bachelor’s and master’s students in life sciences, biotechnology, environmental sciences, health, or related fields, as well as professionals and lifelong learners with a relevant higher education background. For this reason, it will be required an entry qualification of three-year university diplomas or bachelor’s degree, and it will be given priority to those who have a professional experience in the field of biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry or pollutant chemistry.

    • Application: €30
    • Enrolment: Total fee €543,00 (First instalment: € 392,50 – Second instalment: € 150,50)
  • Workload:125 hours
  • Duration: 2 months, from 1 October 2026 to 3 December 2026
  • Application deadline: 17 September 2026
  • Online lessons on Zoom
  • Final exam: Students will take part in drafting an environmental bioremediation project, applying the synthetic biology knowledge acquired during the course
  • Credits: 5 ECTS
  • Max: 25 participants
  • Language: English
