The Arqus Joint Master’s Programme in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence (MICAC) has officially launched its 3rd edition. On 29 September 2026, newly admitted students met at the University of Padua for a welcome session marking the start of the 2026/27 academic year.

With three generations of students now part of this joint journey, from those stepping into their first semester to senior cohorts progressing in their specialization, the programme confirms its role as a flagship initiative within Arqus.

This unique two‑year Joint Master’s is offered collaboratively by the University of Padua, Vilnius University, the University of Granada, and the University of Minho. It combines joint teaching, structured physical mobility across the four institutions, and practical training. Focusing on today’s critical digital challenges, students will explore cybersecurity and cyberintelligence through an interdisciplinary lens, bridging high-level technical expertise, strategic management, and human-centric perspectives.

Supported by the Cyberactioning project under the Digital Europe Programme, MICAC continues to bridge cutting-edge academic knowledge with hands-on experience, preparing professionals equipped for both industry and research challenges. Entering its third year, MICAC reaffirms its commitment to training the next generation of highly skilled experts needed to safeguard Europe’s digital future.

We wish all new students a successful start into the academic year and an inspiring journey across the Arqus network!
