Transatlantic Entrepreneurship Academy – Graz

The “Transatlantic Entrepreneurship Academy” (TEA) is a high-calibre international startup boot camp offered by the University of Graz in collaboration with “Montclair State University.” The core topic of the boot camp is disruptive innovation & Entrepreneurship Each year, 15-20 students from the University of Graz have the opportunity to participate in the TEA program and gain international experience in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, together with 15-20 students from the USA. The boot camp is not directed at any specific field of study, making it open to all students. The program includes two intensive workshop weeks, during which students dedicate themselves fully to the project. One week takes place in Montclair/NYC (USA) and the other in Graz. In addition, there are in-person and online sessions to prepare for and follow up on the workshop weeks. During the workshop weeks, international teams work on creative, innovative, and sustainable startup projects. From idea generation to the first prototypes and a final pitch, students receive intensive support on topics such as entrepreneurship, innovation management, prototyping, and pitch training. In addition to engaging content, both workshop weeks feature a diverse program, including company visits, networking with the local startup ecosystem, social activities, sightseeing, and culinary experiences.

It is a one Semester course. Application is open at the beginning of the winter semester.
