The University of Lyon 1 invites all excellent postdoctoral researchers who want to pursue an academic career and wish to go abroad, to apply for the highly prestigious Marie Sklodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF), with Lyon 1 as the host institution.

This university is implementing an ambitious policy of support and assistance to enable the research teams in its laboratories to apply for the MSCA PF call for projects. All the hosting offers – around twenty to date – are published on the Lyon 1 website. The candidate and supervisor will work together to define a research project. All research themes are eligible.

This European call for projects enables research teams to host a young researcher for a period of 12 to 24 or 36 months, of any nationality, who wishes to carry out a research project as part of an international mobility programme, and who meets the following eligibility criteria:

  • Hold a doctorate.
  • Have less than 8 years’ research experience after obtaining their (first) doctoral degree.
  • Comply with the mobility rule: not have resided or carried out their main activity (employment, studies, etc.) in the country of application for more than 12 months during the last 3 years.

The MSCA-PF call for projects opens annually in April, with applications due this year on 11th September 2024.
