On 9–10 April, the University of Wrocław hosted an international meeting dedicated to the development of a Joint Degree Programme on sustainable development within Arqus.

The meeting brought together representatives from the Faculty of Biological Sciences and the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Wrocław, alongside delegates from partner institutions including the University of Graz, Leipzig University, Hiroshima University, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, University of Basel and Utrecht University.

The main objective of the meeting was to advance the academic design of the programme, focusing on the development of its structure, curriculum, and learning outcomes, as well as to define the scope and modalities of cooperation among the participating universities. This initiative represents an important step towards strengthening interdisciplinary education and fostering collaborative approaches to global sustainability challenges within and beyond the Alliance.
