The EDU-CLIMA conference aims to advance climate action education by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among six universities.

The kick-off event, held on 14-16 May 2025 at the University of Graz (Austria), will provide a platform for scholars, educators, and students to exchange ideas on innovative educational strategies that bridge the gap between climate knowledge and climate action. This event will start a multi-month webinar series covering science, culture, literature, and the arts, empowering change through education.

The registration deadline is 1 May.

EDU-CLIMA is part of the cross-disciplinary education for climate action project, a bottom-up initiative funded by the Arqus Innovation Fund. It unites six Arqus universities: Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Minho, Padua and Wrocław, coordinated by the University of Graz.

The Arqus Innovation Fund incentivises innovative ad hoc bottom-up initiatives from Arqus academics, administrative staff and students with a joint approach.
