Maynooth University Welcomes Arqus Students

As part of Orientation Week, Maynooth University hosted a special welcome event for Arqus students on 18 September, marking the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year.

During the event, students from the Universities of Graz, Granada, Minho, Padua, Vilnius, and Wrocław, had the opportunity to meet one another and connect with staff members of the Arqus Alliance Team at Maynooth University. To celebrate their arrival, students enjoyed a selection of traditional Irish snacks and received a small welcome gift to commemorate their time at Maynooth.

The afternoon was marked by an enthusiastic and positive spirit, with participants engaging in lively discussions and showing a strong interest in becoming active members of both the university and the wider Arqus community. It was inspiring to see students from different countries coming together, sharing experiences, and beginning what promises to be a rewarding international journey.

We wish all of our Arqus students at Maynooth a successful and enriching year at Maynooth University and look forward to following their experiences throughout the months ahead
