The Arqus Alliance is delighted to announce that the results of the 1st call for ad hoc bottom-up initiatives 2023 of the Arqus Innovation Fund have been published! The list of the activities selected for funding is available in the Innovation Fund section of the website.

The Arqus Innovation Fund incentivises innovative internal bottom-up initiatives from Arqus staff and students by providing seed funding to foster innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as to increase the visibility of Arqus internally and encourage further staff engagement.

Under this fund, a call for ad hoc bottom-up initiatives with a joint approach and impact on the Alliance was launched in 2023. Applications were submitted by teams from at least three Arqus institutions who work together on a joint proposal. Specifically, the call aimed to support the following types of activities:

  • Challenge-based-learning programmes.
  • Collaboration project labs.
  • Cross-disciplinary seminars.
  • Dissemination events for the general public.
  • Joint short-term study projects (except twinnings).
  • Research training.
  • Twin/triplet transition initiatives.
  • Joint workshops.

The contact persons of the selected activities will receive an email from the programme organisers and must reply to this email within one week to accept the funding.
