Members of the AIFRS are connected via a mailing list which grants every member the possibility to post and disseminate upcoming events, initiatives, and other activities within the AIFRS or which could be of interest to AIFRS members. The AIFRS board also uses the mailing list to inform about important developments and news in the AIFRS. The mailing list can be unsubscribed at any point in time.

AIFRS-members remain full members of AIFRS when changing university, but having become a member during their time at an ARQUS university. The same applies if an ARQUS-university chooses to leave the alliance: the corresponding members of these universities remain full members of AIFRS. The AIFRS takes great pride in facilitating and supporting long lasting, open and inspiring scientific ties.

The AIFRS also grants associated memberships to scholars from other universities on special request.
