700 students get to know Arqus at the University of Granada
|
11 Jun 2025In May 2025, the Arqus local team at the University of Granada launched a campaign called “Get to know Arqus” to raise awareness of the Alliance among the university faculties and schools.
For several weeks, the Arqus European University Alliance has been present in the entrance halls of 20 university centres, showcasing the advantages of being part of Arqus to students and administrative and academic staff. These include the opportunity to participate in joint training projects and mobility programmes, access to research funding, and the chance to study a joint master’s degree at one of the nine European universities that are members of the Alliance.
For this purpose, Arqus has set up information stands offering merchandise and games. This allowed University members to learn about the shared academic offer of the Alliance, the opportunities to improve language skills and experience other cultures, internships to expand job market horizons, and even specialist support for entrepreneurial ventures. Students and staff got to know that, as members of the University of Granada, they are also members of Arqus, and this gives them the chance to take part in the Alliance’s calls, joint programmes, training sessions and mobility experiences.
The Arqus local team at the UGR visited a total of 20 faculties and schools on the University Campus in Granada. This will soon be repeated at the Ceuta and Melilla campuses.
