On 3 February, in Coimbra (Portugal), two members of the Arqus UMinho team took part in an inter-alliance meeting held as part of the UNIgreen International Conference 2026.

The workshop brought together international mobility officers and administrative staff from partner universities of UNIgreen, with the aim of strengthening professional capacities, enhancing coordination in mobility management and promoting the exchange of best practices across European institutions.

Key discussions focused on student and staff mobility procedures, as well as the operational and administrative challenges faced by European University alliances. The programme combined presentations with interactive sessions, encouraging peer learning and collaborative problem-solving.

A dedicated segment of the workshop featured contributions from other European University alliances, including Arqus and EUTOPIA, both of which include Portuguese partner institutions. These presentations offered valuable external perspectives on mobility governance, organisational models and innovative practices, fostering inter-alliance dialogue and mutual learning.

Arqus’ participation in this event reaffirms its commitment to continuous improvement in international mobility and to strengthening strategic cooperation among European Universities alliances.
