This event will bring together beneficiaries of the Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund and representatives from Arqus partner universities on 17 and 18 March in Granada. It will offer a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections across the Alliance, exchange experiences, and showcase academic excellence in an international and inspiring setting.

The event will feature a Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition, engaging workshops on “My career toolkits” and “Starting a business as a chance after your studies”,  as well as opportunities to engage with students, academics and representatives from the Arqus universities. The welcoming remarks will be delivered by a representative of the University of Granada Rectorate and Dorothy Kelly, the Arqus Coordinator.

The co-leads of the Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund have also organised a special highlight for the scholarship beneficiaries, which will make this Gathering Event an unforgettable experience for everyone. The official part of the event on the morning of 18 March can be followed online via the Arqus YouTube channel. Everyone is welcome to tune in, so don’t miss it!

The Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund is a scholarship scheme launched in early 2023 to attract and retain talent at postgraduate level from around the world. The target groups are talented graduates and students who wish to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree at one of the Arqus partner universities (Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius and Wroclaw), including a compulsory mobility at a second Arqus partner.
