The international summer school on MS-based metabolomic data processing (ISS-MetMS26) will take place at the University of Granada from 14 to 18th September 2026. The event will bring together students, researchers and professionals interested in the analysis of metabolomics data derived from mass spectrometry.

The summer school will focus on mass spectrometry data processing and analysis in metabolomics, combining lectures delivered by leading international experts with hands-on practical sessions on current computational tools and workflows used in the field. The programme is designed to provide participants with both theoretical background and practical skills for the analysis and interpretation of MS-based metabolomics data.

A number of opportunities are available for Arqus members:

  • Reserved places for participants from Arqus partner institutions
  • A reduced registration fee of €350 for Arqus members

The registration fee includes participation in all academic sessions, course materials, lunches, coffee breaks and the social programme, which features conference dinners and a guided visit to the Alhambra.

Due to the limited number of places, participation follows a two-phase registration process. Applicants are first required to submit a short CV and a motivation letter by 20 March 2026. Selected candidates will then be invited to complete the registration and payment process.

Further information about the programme and the application procedure is available on the event website.

Members of the Arqus community are encouraged to share this opportunity with students, researchers and colleagues who may be interested in metabolomics and mass spectrometry data analysis.
