Join the new Arqus micro-credential: Living labs, heritage and society
|
28 May 2026This micro-credential (MCC) is part of the Arqus offer of flexible, short-cycle learning opportunities designed to support the development of transversal skills relevant for academic, professional and personal growth. It has been developed within the Alliance and involves the participation of the University of Minho (coordinating institution) and the University of Granada.
It responds to the need to train students in innovative and participatory approaches within the field of cultural heritage, from an immersive perspective.
This MCC is based on the Living Lab concept and seeks to address the growing demand for collaborative methodologies that integrate local communities into the construction of heritage knowledge, as they are the custodians of the heritage with which they maintain identity-based ties.
It is primarily intended for postgraduate university students (specifically Master’s degree) in the fields of Humanities, Social Sciences, Cultural Heritage, Archaeology, Architecture, Anthropology, Geography or related areas, and who are studying at one of the universities within Arqus Alliance. However, applications from students at other universities will also be accepted if places are available.
Registrations are open until 9th of June!
