Students Join Arqus Day Celebration at Maynooth University

To commemorate the celebration of the eighth anniversary of Arqus, Maynooth University prepared an Arqus stand in its University halls to offer students a glimpse into all the opportunities and initiatives that the Alliance has to offer. 

With popcorns, snacks, and cinema-inspired decorations, the Arqus stand gave students a chance to take a short break between lectures, learn more about the Alliance, join the Arqus Day celebrations and participate in a quiz featuring questions about Arqus for a chance to win an exclusive MU-Arqus hoodie.

For many students, this was their first introduction to Arqus, and several expressed an interest in international experiences of their own, highlighting the importance of making information about international opportunities more accessible and visible across campus.

The event was a small but meaningful way to bring these opportunities closer to our university community and remind students that being a Maynooth student also means being part of Arqus.

Arqus Day is not only about celebrating another year of the Alliance but also about recognising the connections and opportunities it creates for students, universities, and communities across Europe. The celebration provided an opportunity to showcase the value of this cooperation and demonstrate what being part of the Alliance means for our university.
