Scholarship recipients must complete at least one mobility period at a second Arqus partner university. The mobility period’s minimum duration is 1 month, with the maximum duration depending on the regulations of your chosen Master’s university. When applying for the scholarship, we do not require proof of a fully planned mobility period.
However, you should have an idea of how mobility to a second Arqus university can be integrated into your study programme. This should be explained in your motivation letter. It is advisable to have several mobility alternatives in case your first choice does not work out. Remember, your mobility stay cannot be EU-funded as our scholarship is already EU-funded. The mobility can take the form of a: study period, training, or research stay.
An online orientation session with information about compulsory mobility and the Arqus Ambassadors programme will be organised for all successful applicants in September 2024.
Update for prospective Maynooth students (19-06-2024)
Please do not contact Maynooth University staff regarding Arqus Talent Scholarship queries.
Also, please note that, for any School of Business Master’s programme at Maynooth University, it is not possible to take a mobility period during the 12-month duration of the course. A separate mobility arrangement will be put in place for students in receipt of the scholarship and taking a MU School of Business programme to facilitate their Arqus mobility after the completion of the 12-month degree. Please do not contact the School of Business at Maynooth University with any Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund-related queries.
