On 17-18 March, the Digital Europe Programme projects met in Luxembourg under the theme “Reflecting on the future of Advanced Digital Skills in Europe by 2030 and beyond”.

María Bazuelo attended the DEP projects meeting on behalf of the Cyberactioning project, which encompasses the implementation of the Arqus Joint Master’s Programme in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence.

The meeting counted with presentations, open discussions and parallel workshops. It brought together coordinators of Digital Europe Programme (DEP) initiatives to shape the future of advanced digital skills in Europe, discuss policy developments, share experiences and explore synergies with other EU-funded actions—particularly in the areas of cybersecurity education, microcredentials, and stakeholder engagement. The Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) is an EU funding programme focused on bringing digital technology to businesses, citizens and public administrations.

Aims and objectives of the meeting:

  • Reflect on the outcomes of ongoing Digital Europe Programme (DEP) projects in the field of advanced digital skills and explore synergies.
  • Explore and discuss new policy actions to bridge the digital skills gap and strengthen Europe’s technological sovereignty and competitiveness.
  • Strengthen the ecosystem of advanced digital skills stakeholders able to address the priorities of the new College of Commissioners.
  • Meet and network with coordinators and team members from the various DEP projects, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
