The University of Granada invites Arqus PhD students and candidates to the SD2 International Doctoral Summer School “Law’s role in the wake of Artificial Intelligence (AI) emergence” which will take place from 26th to 29th September 2023. 3 grants are being offered to Arqus students who present a paper.

The SD2 International Doctoral Summer School is a four-day event where leading scholars address the ethical and legal implications of AI in various fields such as privacy, governance, liability, human rights or digital transformation.

The Doctoral Summer School aims to provide doctoral candidates with feedback that improves their research project or research papers as well as provide them with unique professional and personal development opportunities beyond what they are generally exposed to in the course of their PhD training. PhD students from all disciplines and cross-disciplines are invited to participate and not only those coming from law areas.

By creating an exceptional and international, intercultural and interdisciplinary meeting of bright young minds, the SD2 Summer School creates a highly stimulating learning experience which is of long lasting value to the participants’ future careers, fostering the creation of a long lasting peer -network.

The registration deadline and paper deadline submission is 11th September 2023.

The registration form as well as a more detailed information about the Summer School can be found here.

The organisers are offering three grants for Arqus students paper presentation. For more information, please contact juanfrg@ugr.es
