07 Nov 2024The University of Padua is delighted to invite Arqus Ph.D. Students, Post-Docs, and early-stage researchers to participate in the International Winter School “The 4Ms: Meta-research, Measurement, Multi-lab, Multiverse Data Analysis in Behavioral Sciences,” (https://winterschool4ms.dpg.unipd.it/), taking place from February 17th to 21st, 2025.
Organized by Padua’s Department of General Psychology in collaboration with three other departments specializing in psychology, statistics, and neuroscience, this Winter School promises a dynamic and immersive experience aimed at addressing the ongoing debates about methodological challenges in behavioral sciences, which have significant implications for theory, measurement, and data analysis.
Participants will dive into an intensive week of workshops, seminars, and hands-on sessions with renowned experts like Lisa DeBruine, Jessica Flake, Daniël Lakens, Ulrich Schimmack, and Dorothy Bishop. This program offers a unique chance to:
The program is designed for Ph.D. students, Post-Docs, and early-career researchers in psychology and related fields, with a registration fee of €350, covering all activities, coffee breaks, lunches, and a social dinner. Scholarships and discounts are available for eligible candidates from low-income countries or those with disabilities.
