All members of the Arqus universities can register now for the sixth edition of the Arqus Café, which will run from 13th March to 30th June 2023.

The Arqus Café is an online space where students from the Arqus universities can meet in small groups to practice and improve their foreign language skills in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a great opportunity for students to expand their language and cultural knowledge informally together with other language learners. All levels are welcome, but it works best when students have a minimum of an A2/B1 level. The cafés are not language courses as such but an excellent opportunity to practice a foreign language meanwhile enjoying an intercultural exchange.

The cafés take place online, once a week for one hour via Zoom. The tutors guiding the Arqus Café sessions are either native speakers or have the language of the café as their first language.

There are currently language cafés for the following languages: Arabic, German, English, French, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish and Spanish.

Registration is already open and runs until 17th March 2023. It is possible to register after this date, but there will be fewer places available. If a café is full, the organizers will put the applicants on the waiting list.
