Minho organises the Arqus Conference “Higher Education and Human Rights” with the participation of NaUKMA

Next 3rd October from 15:00 Lisbon time, the University of Minho holds the Arqus Conference “Higher Education and Human Rights” at the Braga Public Library (Portugal).

The Conference will count on the participation of the Director of the Centre for Genocide and Human Rights Studies at the Ukrainian National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA), Professor Myroslava Antonovych. She will focus on the role of higher education institutions in preparing citizens who are more aware of the social value of human rights. The event is free to attend and will be moderated by Professor Manuel João Costa, Pro-Rector for Student Affairs and Pedagogical Innovation at the University of Minho.

The next day, 4th October from 15:00 Lisbon time, Professor Antonovych will give a talk about the abduction and transfer of Ukrainian children by Russia at the School of Law of the University of Minho. This session will include presentations by Assunção do Vale Pereira and Patrícia Jerónimo, both Professors at this School.
