Innovators Awards

The Arqus International Innovators Award is an online competition that looks for selecting the most innovative and internationalized Arqus start-ups.

It is one of the initiatives of the Alliance intended to identify and foster university-based start-ups planning to internationalize very early. The Award allows them to present international business models in order to support visibility and networking on the European level for international venture implementation.

Following a public vote that allowed the audience to choose their favourite team, the winner of the 2026 edition is:

Elite Education Academy: an initiative from Vilnius University that aims to connect students with long-term teachers through a personalised compatibility test that identifies the best match between learners and educators.

Unlike previous mentioned awards, this last one was presented this Thursday at the Alhambra Venture festival. This major event for business, entrepreneurship and innovation takes place in Granada, with the collaboration of UGR Emprendedora (University of Granada). There, upon receiving the award, Luca (a member of the winning team) said: “It is such an honour to win an international trophy”.

The Arqus Awards continue to celebrate the talent, dedication and collaborative spirit that define the Alliance. By recognising these outstanding initiatives, Arqus reaffirms its commitment to fostering excellence in education, research and innovation across its member universities. Congratulations once again to all the winners and nominees for their valuable contributions to the Arqus community!
