2-part training session on MOOCs in Higher Education

29 Nov 2024As online education continues to transform the academic landscape, the demand for high-quality Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) is at an all-time high. To equip educators and instructional designers with the necessary tools to succeed in this changing environment, the Arqus alliance invites participants to join a two-part online training programme titled “Creating MOOCs in Higher Education.”
Led by the expert trainers Nadine Linschinger and Barbora Orlická, from the University of Graz, this course is designed to equip participants with the foundational knowledge and practical skills to design and implement MOOCs that truly engage learners. The sessions will take place online, offering flexibility while delivering top-notch insights and guidance.
Why MOOCs matter
MOOCs have transformed how education is delivered and accessed, enabling institutions to reach a global audience while promoting lifelong learning. However, creating an effective MOOC requires more than just technical expertise. It demands thoughtful instructional design, learner-centric strategies, and practical implementation skills.
